Sandra Williams

Sandra began her career in the event industry in 2002 by working with various non-profit organizations in planning million dollar fundraising events in Southern California. Sandra’s passion, creativity and eye for design led her to utilize her talents into complete wedding design and planning. In 2005, she officially launched Finishing Touch and instantly attracted clients on a local and national level. Known for her sense of style, creativity and attention to details, each of Sandra’s events are unique and memorable in design. Sandra’s optimism, calm demeanor and personable approach help her clients create their wedding day through a stress free and fun planning process.

Aside from her experience, Sandra was also trained professionally in the wedding industry through the University of San Diego Event Management Certification Program. Her focus in wedding planning business development and background in event and catering design allows her to present her clients with up to date wedding trends, excellent customer service, and sophisticated dining and event design that will simply take your breath away. Sandra’s multicultural background and her trilingual ability (English, Cantonese and Mandarin) make her the ideal event planner in today’s global market. Sandra’s designs have been featured on the STYLE Network, Hawaii’s OC 16, Pacific Weddings, Hawaii Bride and Groom and Your Wedding Day. In 2008, Finishing Touch was invited to be listed amongst the elite group of wedding professionals on the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Platinum List.

When Sandra is not designing a wedding or researching new trends in the event scene, she enjoys trying new ethnic cuisines, tasting new wines, working on home improvement projects and spending time with her husband Marvin and their two dogs Bugz and Melo.

Tristin Viloria

Born and raised on the islands, Tristin’s passion for event planning has led her to joining Finishing Touch in 2008. Besides her experience in corporate event and conference planning, she also brings with her a background in human resources. Tristin’s ability to remain personable and compassionate towards clients and colleagues, while maintaining a high level of professionalism make her an ideal planner for weddings and other social events.

Tristin believes the best part about weddings is the endless possibility to see the couple’s personalities shine through in their choice of décor, ambiance, personalized program and other special touches of their special day. Tristin can never get tired of watching the couple’s expressions after seeing their completed ceremony and reception set up for the first time. Especially since all of their hard work in making sure all the details are executed flawlessly has finally paid off.

In her spare time, Tristin enjoys trying new restaurants with friends, watching movies, and, of course, shopping. But her first love is dancing hula. Tristin began dancing hula at the age of four and has participated in ten Merrie Monarch Hula Competitions on the Big Island of Hawaii as a member of Hula Halau O’Kamuela. (Merrie Monarch is considered the world’s premier hula competition.) Hula has taught Tristin discipline, hard work, time management, and, most importantly, what it means to exemplify the “aloha spirit.”
